TKEZ architecture & design developed a new open office concept for the IKB building in Düsseldorf.
The inspiring interior transformation from single cell units to a open space floorplan enhances communication and exchange among the employees offering various spacial designs for teamwork, concentrated work, informal meeting settings as well as presentation and formal meeting spaces.
The ample circulation space is activated with functions such as a sculptural stage seating / stairs in combination with a coffee bar joining two floors through the existing ceiling cutouts.
A semi open magazine / library offers a space to the employees to rest and read in a calm and semi enclosed environment.
